Monique Tenander is an Associate Broker and has enjoyed selling real estate in the Lakes Region area full-time since 1998. She moved to New Hampshire with her husband and two boys in 1994 and has since called Alton Bay "home."

With two children in the Alton school, Monique volunteers at school events and has given much of her time, in the last four years to the school's ski and snowboard program at Gunstock Ski Area in Gilford. She has been active in the community, helping the Alton Parks and Recreation Department form the "Alton Skate Park" and giving Alton's active children a safe place to skateboard. She has instructed multiple classes for dog owners in obedience training as well as successfully competing in obedience trials with her own dog, Maggie. She has been a member of the "Rochester Road Runners" Club and in 2001 formed and directed the "FreeFall Classic" 10k road race. Some of her personal best include finishing the "Baystate" Marathon in Lowell, MA.

Prior to joining The Bean Group, Monique began her real estate career with Curry Realtors in Alton Bay and after a year, joined H.S. Maxfield-Buchanan Associates as a Sales Associate and then in 2002, a Broker Associate. She has been named "Top Producer", "Top Sales Agent" as well as being recognized in "Who's Who among Luxury Realtors". Twice she has acted as "Mentor" to new sales agents.

She believes her attention to detail, availability, and low pressure sales approach are the reasons for her success.
